Honda Marine & Power Equipment

ROLE: CREATIVE LEAD | AGENCY: VERT

Both the Honda Marine & Power Equipment creative was handled by one in-house graphic designer before Vert was brought on as their digital agency of record. Since starting to work with them we have been able to establish a more recognizable style for each respective brand, and have helped them to grow their audience to be a more diverse base of users.

 

Organic Social Media

Previous to us taking over both of their social channels most of their content was created in Canva (yikes). The first thing we did before starting to post content was to create a more unified look & feel for each brand. Deciding on typefaces, colors, and stylistic choices we wanted each brand to be able to own. Over the course of our relationship we have been able to refine and pivot as we see what works well with our audiences.

Paid Media

One of the challenges for Honda paid media is that banner ads are a major driver of sales for them. We are constantly trying to push the envelope on what our ads look like and how we can make them stick out against the other marine or power equipment brands out there. In addition to banner ads we also run native display units, paid social, and search ads.
